White Plains, NY - The Play-Ground Theatre of Rollinsville, CO will perform a FREE Wild West Show for all ages in Memorial United Methodist Church’s Asbury Hall on Wednesday, Sept. 24, from 7-8 p.m.
This FREE performance is sponsored by Memorial’s WOW! Wednesdays program and the Early Childhood Center at Memorial. Food will be available for sale.
Bring the kids and saddle up for a one-hour interactive performance of western tales, country ditties, riding, roping and a gold rush of laughter for the whole family. The Wild West Show includes:

WOW! Wednesdays is an intergenerational weekly program at Memorial UMC that delights children and stimulates adults, and brings the generations together. We meet for a common meal from 6:30-7 p.m., and then children and youth enjoy interactive fun while grownups participate in Bible Study. Memorial also offers Wednesday Worship from 6-6:30 p.m. in the Chapel.

About the Performers
Mia Sole
Mia Sole was born in 1966 in Long Island New York. Mia directed her first children’s theatre production at the University of Colorado were she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre.
In August 1989, she won the University of Colorado Talent and Creativity Award. Her degree in theatre and love of acting inspired her to create a new and innovative children’s theatre, and Play-Ground Theatre was born.
Mia produces, directs, writes and acts in original, musical touring children’s theatre productions. She supervises and trains actors for touring performances and is a creative dramatics instructor for students ages 3 to adult. She has written hundreds of plays with and for children.
In 1995, Play-Ground Creations was founded and Mia put her talents to work in costume and design. In 1996, Mia co-founded Sole Studios, a music production company. She is presently working to share her creative gifts with children around the country. Her goal is to spread as much joy in learning as possible.
Jeff Haycock
Jeff Haycock was born in Wellesley, MA, in 1964. He graduated from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams with a BA in English and Theatre. In 1987, he won the Francis S. Bacillian Award for Achievement in Dramatics. Jeff was also recognized in Who’s Who in American Colleges for his contributions in theatre and performing arts. In 1985, he participated in Roger Williams College London Theatre Program.
In 1983, Jeff joined Something Different, a touring children’s theatre company in the Berkshires. For three years, he worked with the ensemble to create original music and skits performing for the children and parents.
In 1989, Jeff moved to Boulder, CO, and was a touring musician who has played at Red Rocks, Great Woods and many other national venues. He was a vocalist, bass player and songwriter for the band Acoustic Junction. In 1993, Jeff started The Vengers, a nationally acclaimed ska band, as a song writer, booking agent, guitar player and vocalist. His musical influences and love of children led him to a job as a preschool music teacher.
Jeff joined the Play-Ground Theatre in 1990 and became a major influence in the future of the company. As musical director, playwright, teacher, and actor, Jeff was a tremendous asset; a driving musical force, as well as a brilliant children’s theatre instructor and trainer. Jeff also teaches guitar and voice instruction.
In 1996, Jeff co-founded Sole Studios, a music production company, where he engineers and produces local bands, radio commercials, children’s music, and radio plays.
