Dominic Carter To Speak At White Plains Library |

White Plains, NY - Author, writer and news reporter Dominic Carter will speak at the White Plains Library, Monday, December 10, 6:30 p.m.
Mr. Carter will speak on his recent book, “No Momma Boy” in which he chronicles his triumphant struggle to overcome his mother’s illness while growing in a Bronx housing project.
Mr. Carter is currently a host of NY1’s nightly television show. His numerous interviews include former President Bill Clinton, the late John Cardinal O’Connor and Nelson Mandela.
As a youngster growing up in the Bronx, Carter was involved with the Police Athletic League, and today is proud to call himself a PAL kid.
In his free time, he often speaks to youth groups about the importance of education and achievement. He has received the Samuel P. Peabody Award from the Citizens’ Committee, for his vision, innovation and dedication to children and families.
