Croton on Hudson, NY - Croton Teen Theater, a summer educational program now in their 21st season, is excited to announce auditions for Cole Porter’s 1939 musical, “Anything Goes”.
The romantic musical comedy will serve as the springboard for area teens to sharpen their acting, singing and dancing skills in a professional environment. Under the direction of Tom Berger, Artistic Director of Directions Theatre Company in Manhattan and well-known regional musical director John Bronston, the shipboard tale of identity mix-up’s coupled with songs such as “I Get a Kick Out of You”, “You’re the Top”, and “Anything Goes” is sure to be a hit with participants and audiences alike. This year’s choreographer is yet to be announced. Additionally, CTT offers learning opportunities from professional designers in lighting, sound, costumes and set construction to anyone interested.
Auditions will be held May 19, 21 and 22 at Asbury Methodist Church, 9 Old Post Road South, Croton on Hudson, NY beginning promptly at 6:30. Community service credit is available for those volunteering as technical staff.
