“Colored Pencil II – Advanced” with Gould on Tuesday mornings starting May 6, lets students practice and refine their skills. Gould also teaches a Saturday morning drawing class for students of various skill levels who wish to learn at their own pace, from 9:30-12:30 starting May 3.

“Colored Pencil I” with Gould will be offered on Wed. mornings beginning May 7, and will cover the basics of using colored pencils to give color and form to your drawings.

“Watercolor II – Developing Skills” with Lapin-Cohen on Wednesday mornings starting May 7, covers realistic portrayals of seasonal spring botanical subjects using various techniques, with a goal of detail, texture and color accuracy.

On Thursday mornings starting May 8, Lapin-Cohen’s “Watercolor III – Advanced” students will develop their own style by working independently on individual projects.

All weekday morning classes run from 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.; afternoon classes run from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Corinne Lapin-Cohen is a member of the American Society of Botanical Artists and the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators.
