Bedford Chamber Concerts Performs 18th Century Venice |

 Bedford, NY - On Wednesday, December 10 at 8:00pm Bedford Chamber Concerts will transport its audience to 18th century Venice with a program of violin and flute concerti by Vivaldi.
Bringing Lincoln Center performance standards to Bedford, renowned musician, conductor and composer Anthony Newman, will perform supported by the Bedford Chamber Ensemble.
“To be able to hear such splendid music in the kind of atmosphere that is provided here makes it marvelously special”, said Janine Selendy of North Salem.
“The concerts are truly extraordinary,” said another past attendee and Bedford resident. “It is wonderful music in the best setting imaginable.”
Antonio Vivaldi is one of the leading lights of Italian Baroque music who wrote hundreds of solo concerti featuring many different instruments. This concert will feature his concerto for four violins and orchestra, one of the few ever written for this combination.
The concert will take place in the Fellowship Hall of St. Matthew’s Church, 382 Cantitoe Street in Bedford. Venetian refreshments will be served during intermission and are included in the $40 ticket price. For ticket reservations call 914-234-9636.
