Westchester Arts & Entertainment NewsWhite Plains, NY - Bring your blanket to Westchester.  During the summer months, every corner of the county comes alive with outdoor concerts and performances.

Even better, many of these performances are free.  Support your local arts scene and stay close to home this summer --- experience music in the air.  Check out the June listings below and keep an eye out for more announcements like these as the summer continues.

Dancing at Dusk:
Bluegrass, Country Song, and Dance

Shades of Jazz

The Hudson River Fest: A Search for the Past, Present and Future

Rivertown Jazz and Blues Festival Celebration of Sustainable Community with Bethany and Rufus, the Mandingo Ambassadors, and Hazmat Modine

Habirshaw Park at the Beczak Environmenal Center, Hastings-on-Hudson
A musical "celebration of sustainable community," with performances by the folk/jazz duo Bethany and Rufus (featuring Bethany Yarrow, daughter of Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul and Mary); The Mandingo Ambassadors from Guinea, West Africa; and the blues/gypsy/world music sound of New York City favorites, Hazmat Modine. The all-ages festival also includes children’s activities, food, and displays from environmental and other community groups.
