 Pelham, NY - Pelham Art Center is hosting the 11th annual Studio Café fundraiser at 7:30pm on Friday, Nov 14, at 155 Fifth Avenue, Pelham, NY.
The fun and casual event will take place at the Art Center and in its tented courtyard. 200 guests will enjoy live music and vocals from Pelham Jazz Ensemble, bid in a live and silent auction of fine art photography and other unique and artful items: books packages, jewelry, yoga sessions, and more.
All funds raised support the 100’s of free and affordable programs the Art Center offers more than 18,000 in the area.
The event is being chaired by Steve Rifkin and Hank’s Photographic Services, Inc., and Andrea Bayer, a Pelham Art Center Board President – Elect and Curator, Department of European Paintings, The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Sponsorships for the event has been received from the many artists who donated artwork, Pelham Jazz Ensemble who will provide live music and vocals, Dancing Bear Cellars and Blue Dog Wines providing wine and cocktails, and Greener By Design Inc. is providing greenery décor. Finally, the delicious part: more than 15 local restaurants are donating food and desserts to the sumptuous buffet.
The public may preview the auction photographs Nov. 12 – 14th. An evening preview will be hosted Wed., Nov 12, 6:30 – 8:30pm, refreshments will be served. The gallery will also be open for previews on Thurs & Fri, Nov 13 & 14 from 10 – 5pm. Absentee Ballots are available for the auction. Tickets may be bought in advance or at the door. The fine art photography is being donated by many photographers associated with Hank’s Photographic Services, hanksphoto.com, which specializes in black and white photographic exhibition and edition printing.
