"PAGE AND STAGE" FALL DISCUSSION SERIES / Join leading classics scholar, Professor Joy Connolly of NYU, to explore Ursula Le Guin's compelling and lyrical novel, "Lavinia" (2008), a modern version of Virgil's epic poem, "The Aeneid." The author gives voice and power to the King's daughter as she considers her choice of suitors. Copies of "Lavinia" will be available to check out at the Reference Desk. Refreshments served. The free concert is performed by the Westchester Klezmer Program, an intergenerational ensemble of local musicians dedicated to bringing this lively art form to the community, under the direction of acclaimed artist Kenny Green.
