Pleasantville, NY - WESPAC Foundation will host a town hall-style meeting on Thursday, December 11th at 7pm at the WESPAC office located at 17 Marble Avenue in Pleasantville on the second floor.
With the election of a new President and a change in administration, the WESPAC Community is inviting the general public to a meeting where we will discuss how we would like to respond to the new possibilities that an Obama administration has opened up for the progressive community. We would like the public's input on how we can strengthen community ties, and we also welcome input regarding where WESPAC should place our organizational priorities in the weeks and months ahead. We welcome involvement from all those energized to work for progressive social change.
WESPAC Foundation has been the leading force in Westchester County for peace and justice work for over three decades. WESPAC Foundation provides outreach and community to individuals, groups and leaders in civic and religious organizations in greater Westchester who find themselves without a voice or support system for their progressive positions. WESPAC Foundation's purpose is to give a human face to those who would otherwise be unrecognized victims of war, injustice and environmental degradation. WESPAC Foundation connects the people of Westchester with a progressive agenda for the planet and its peoples.
Light refreshments will be served.
