Scarsdale, NY - The Greenburgh Nature Center is recruiting companies marketing “green building” and “growing green” products and services of all kinds to set up educational displays and/or market green goods and services at the GNC’s Growing Green Family Festival.
The festival will be held on Sunday, June 8th, from 12 noon to 4 p.m., and is held outdoors. It features children’s games, food and live music, alongside exhibitions of businesses and organizations providing products, services, and information about conservation and environmental sustainability. Last year’s exhibitors included energy companies, sustainable land use services, hybrid and electric cars, green building consultants, local school and government sustainability programs, and environmental organizations such as the Sierra Club and Rainforest Alliance.

The festival has traditionally attracted 500-800 people over the course of the event. In case of bad weather, portions of the event will be held indoors or under tents. There is no rain date. Exhibitors and vendors must provide their own tables/display facilities, with a maximum footprint of 8’x 8’. Set-up is from 10 a.m. that day.

Educational/informational exhibit space must be reserved in advance with $25 registration;
For-profit sellers reserve space with $60 advance registration fee;
Non-profits, no fee but advance registration required.
The Greenburgh Nature Center is located at 99 Dromore Road, off Central Park Avenue, in Scarsdale, NY. Parking is free, and handicapped parking is available. The center’s grounds are open daily dawn to dusk throughout the year. The Manor House exhibits are open daily except Fridays and a few holidays, 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on weekends.
