Churning Butter -- Sunday, January 11, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Join the farm staff as we demonstrate how to churn butter and try your hand at this simple butter making technique.
In Search of Animal Signs -- Sunday, January 18, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Take a brisk hike along the farm roads in search of animal tracks and other signs of winter creatures. Dress for the weather.
Winter on the Farm -- Sunday, January 25, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Find out how the farmyard animals and birds adjust to their winter habitat.
Many Muscoot programs are part of Be Fit Westchester, a county-wide effort to get people to eat smarter and play harder every day.
Muscoot is a Westchester County Park located on Route 100 in Somers and can be reached via I-684, exit 6. Go west on Route 35 to Route 100 and turn left; the farm is a mile and a half ahead on the right. The farm is accessible to the disabled with assistance.
