Mt. Kisco, NY - Bring the kids so they can learn to make cookies, enjoy an old-fashioned farm Christmas, lend a hand with farm chores or see a collection of antique farm toys all in December at Muscoot Farm in Somers.
Holiday Cookies – Sunday, December 7, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Youngsters get a chance to bake and decorate their own sumptuous sweet treats.
Christmas on the Farm – Saturday and Sunday, December 13 and 14, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Sip mulled cider, sample holiday goodies, listen to carolers and enjoy a tour of the farm by lantern light.
Morning Farm Chores – Friday, December 26, 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Join the farm staff as we feed, groom and take care of the animals. Space is limited. Pre-registration required. Fee $5 per person.
Farm Frolic and Story Time, Sunday, December 28, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Stop by and play with Muscoot Farm’s collection of old fashioned farm toys and listen to a farm story.
Muscoot is a Westchester County Park located on Route 100 in Somers and can be reached via I-684, exit 6. Go west on Route 35 to Route 100 and turn left; the farm is a mile and a half ahead on the right. The farm is accessible to the disabled with assistance.
