Mt. Kisco, NY - Learn hands-on the history of Muscoot Farm, study creatures in a pond, learn herb gardening, explore the woods with your children in search of fairies and shop for locally grown fresh produce at a genuine farmers market, all in August at Muscoot Farm in Somers.
Muscoot Farmers Market – Sundays in August, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Support local farmers and enjoy a day at the farm. Fresh produce, meats, cheese, soaps & candles, honey, maple syrup, flowers, fish, chutney, and delicious baked goods are all available at the market.
Artist Gallery – Saturdays and Sundays in August, noon to 4 p.m.

Morning Farm Chores – August 3, 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Help the farm staff feed, groom and take care of the animals. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required. Fee $5 per person.
History Hike* – Sunday, August 10, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Enjoy a leisurely walk around the farm and learn its history.
Pond Study – Sunday, August 17, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Learn what creatures live in and around the farm pond. Nets are limited, please bring you own.
Garden Work – Sunday, August 24, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Learn from a master how to care for the Muscoot herb garden by cultivating, watering and composting...
Fairy Walk – Sunday, August 31, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Muscoot is a Westchester County Park located on Route 100 in Somers and can be reached via I-684, exit 6. Go west on Route 35 to Route 100 and turn left; the farm is a mile and a half ahead on the right. The farm is accessible to the disabled with assistance.
