 Rye, NY - Sisterhood/WRJ at Community Synagogue will launch their opening event for the 2007-08 year - "Shop 'Til You Drop Holiday Boutique" - on Monday, November 5, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Synagogue, 200 Forest Avenue in Rye.
Over a dozen vendors will feature fabulous jewelry, handbags, designer sunglasses, scarves, cooking items from The Pampered Chef, Discovery toys, stationery and so much more.
Cocktails, light dinner (starting at 7 p.m.) and desserts will be featured. Everyone attending will enjoy lively conversation, lots of laughter, and a chance to spend time with good friends.
Sisterhood members and their guests may obtain more information and make reservations at the Synagogue office, 967-6262. All paid-up members attend at no cost; non-members accompanying pay $10. Individuals may sign up for Sisterhood membership at the door, for $50.00. The Sisterhood, comprised of women congregants of Community Synagogue, provides a wide variety of activities and services to the Synagogue family.
Community Synagogue is affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism, and serves the greater Sound Shore community, with members from Rye, Rye Brook, Port Chester, Harrison, Mamaroneck, White Plains and Greenwich. The Synagogue is located at 200 Forest Avenue in Rye.
