Rye, NY - The SAJE program at Community Synagogue - (Senior Activities in a Jewish Environment) - has announced the January calendar of activities.
Monday, January 7th - 12 noon
Joe Murphy, co-founder of the Rye Senior Advocacy Committee will discuss the ElderServe program, a division of the Hebrew Home for the Aged in Riverdale.
Thursday, January 10th - 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Lu Gmoser will provide a wonderful musical presentation, with fun and nostalgia featured
Monday, January 14th - 12 noon
Dr. Helena Snowball will talk on managing pain with traditional and alternative medicine, focusing on musculoskeletal health
Thursday, January 17th and January 31st - 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Rabbi Daniel B. Gropper will conduct bible study classes at the Synagogue
Thursday, January 24th - 10:00 a.m.
Rye resident Carole Worthington will speak about growing up in Westchester as a black woman, regarding her experiences with opportunities and injustices.
Monday, January 28th - 12 noon
Andi Hessekiel will hold her very popular writer's workshop for those who want to learn to write, like to write and/or wish to hear what others have written
