Yonkers, NY - Thursday evening, June 12th at 6:00 p.m. the Greyston Foundation will hold its annual benefit at The Ritz-Carlton in White Plains, New York. “Greyston’s Creating Pathways to a Brighter Tomorrow,” will honor Betty Cotton, Past Chair, Greyston Foundation Board of Directors and Congresswoman Nita Lowey, Inaugural Recipient, Spirit of Greyston Award.
Festivities will include music, treasure boxes, and a live auction, benefiting Greyston’s Youth Services Program. NY State Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins will serve as Master of Ceremonies.
Honorary Chairs are Diana & Jonathan Rose of Katonah. The event chairpersons are Rick Helfenbein of Chappaqua and Deborah Annex of Scarsdale. Committee members include Lynn Bagliebter of Yonkers, James Casey of New York City, Amy Chender of Irvington, Patricia Falkenberg of Scarsdale, Rozanne Gold of New York City, Catherine Pope of Mamaroneck, Alisa White Holland of Bronxville, Patrick James of New York City, Denise Koslowsky of Scarsdale, Clarissa Lefkowitz of Scarsdale, Ilyssa Londa of Scarsdale, Susan Schwartz of Scarsdale, and Ruth Suzman of Scarsdale. The Benefit is generously sponsored by State Street, Eileen Fisher, Advocate Brokerage, Chubb Insurance, and Key Bank.
Proceeds from the event will support the community development work of the Greyston Foundation, a $13 million integrated network of for-profit and not-for-profit entities that provide jobs, workforce development, childcare, housing, after-school programs, community gardens and a comprehensive HIV day program. Greyston is dedicated to supporting low-income individuals and families in Yonkers and the surrounding communities as they forge paths to self-sufficiency and community transformation.
