 Mt. Kisco, NY - The Presbyterian Church of Mount Kisco will host a free screening of the film, “For the Bible Tells Me So” on Sunday, November 9, 2008 at 5:00 p.m.
This insightful film confronts literal interpretations of the Bible and reconciles scripture and homosexuality through the experiences of five American families – including those of former House Majority Leader Richard Gephardt and Episcopal Bishop Gene Robinson. It offers healing, clarity and understanding.
“For the Bible Tells Me So” was a Grand Jury Prize nominee at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival and has received many other awards and honors. A panel discussion featuring local clergy and family therapists will follow the screening.
People of all faith traditions are welcome to attend.
