Fashion Show To Benefit Cancer Group

Westchester Community NewsYorktown Heights, NY - Tickets are on sale now for a glamorous evening of fashion, food and fundraising at the Second Annual Benefit Fashion Show presented by Shine Salon & Spa of Ossining to benefit Support Connection, Inc., a not-for-profit organization based in Yorktown Heights that provides free support services to people affected by breast and ovarian cancer.

The event will take place on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 from 6:00 – 10:00 pm at the C.V. Rich Mansion, 305 Ridgeway, White Plains, New York.

The show will feature the latest trends in men’s and women’s fashions and designs. Featured designers presenting their custom designs will be David’s A Gentleman’s Custom Clothier of Mt. Kisco LTD and Jane Wilson Marquis Couture Bridal and Eveningwear of Manhattan. Shoes and handbags courtesy of Chiara Scura of Mount Kisco, and hair and makeup by Lorraine Frustace of Shine Salon and Spa, will also be on display.

The evening will begin with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction, followed by the fashion show and a sit-down dinner. Goodie bags will be provided to all guests. Models ranging in age from 17-80 will be clients of Shine Salon, and women who have received services from Support Connection, all volunteering their time. Proceeds will benefit Support Connection’s free and confidential support services and programs for people affected by breast and ovarian cancer.
