Dobbs Ferry, NY - On Thursday, December 25th, the fourth day of Chanukah, from 1:00 – 3:00 PM, families from the area will converge on the Westchester Skating Academy for the ultimate celebration of Chanukah – “Chanukah on Ice”.
A unique event of non-stop action and activities for all ages, skaters and non-skaters alike, co-sponsored by Chabad of Dobbs Ferry and Chabad of Briarcliff.
“Chanukah on Ice” will include plenty of time for open skating where children and adults can ice skate to contemporary Jewish music and classic Chanukah songs. During the skating, a professional ice sculptor will carve a giant six-foot tall Menorah out of a huge block of ice in front of your eyes! Once completed you can watch with excitement as it is actually lit during the festivities!
“Chanukah on Ice” is open to the entire community and will take place at “Westchester Skating Academy” 91 Fairview Park Dr, Elmsford NY. Admission is $10 in advance or $13 at the door and includes skate rental. (Non-skaters are $5 in advance or $7 at the door). To purchase advance tickets or for more information visit www.chabadbriarcliff.org or www.chabadrt.org or call Chabad at 914 923 2522 or 914 693 6100.
