Boys And Girls Club Welcomes New Board Members

Westchester Community NewsMt. Kisco, NY - The Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester has elected Linda A. Mahon (of Bedford Corners), Lee Manning-Vogelstein (of Pound Ridge), Peter S. Pauley (of Mt. Kisco), and Jennifer P. Rabley (of Mt. Kisco) to their Board of Directors.

The announcement was made by Brian Skanes, the Club’s executive director.

Linda A. Mahon works in the Private Wealth Management and Asset Management areas of Finance. She has worked as vice president at US Trust Company, Solomon Smith Barney, and Paribas Asset Management, among other major Wall Street firms. Linda has been an associate chair of the Club’s Humanitarian Dinner Committee for several years. She is also co-president and board member of the Mt. Kisco Child Care Center and chaired the 2009 John Jay Homestead House Tour in Bedford. Linda received her B.S. in Economics and Biology from William and Mary, with additional studies at Columbia University. She resides in Bedford Corners with her husband, Robert H. Saunders.

Lee Manning-Vogelstein, a farm owner and patron of the arts, owns and operates Birdstone Farm in Cross River, where she raises horses and other animals. In addition to the Club, Lee is on the board of the Westchester Land Trust, Paul Taylor Dance Foundation, and Home Aides of Rockland. Past board memberships include the New York City Ballet, Metropolitan Opera, and Finis Jung Dance Company. She is a co-author of the children’s book Tilly…A Deer’s Tale. Lee’s professional training in NYC has been in theater arts with an emphasis on dance. Lee currently resides in Pound Ridge.

Peter S. Pauley, CFA, is a senior vice president and investment counselor for Capital Guardian Trust Company’s Personal Investment Management division in New York City. Prior to Capital Guardian, he was vice president and portfolio manager at Webster Private Bank. In addition, Peter has held senior positions at Wilkinson O'Grady & Co., Bankers Trust Co., and American Express Co. He is a board member of the Daugherty Foundation. Peter received a B.A. in Economics from Duke University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. He resides in Mt. Kisco with his wife, Magda, and their three children Peter, Andy and Jack.

Jennifer P. Rabley, a former museum educator and consultant for new and expanding museums, is currently an adjunct at Columbia University’s Teachers College teaching Education in Community Settings: Museums. Jennifer is on the board of the Patton Family Foundation. She is member of the Council on Foundations and Grantmakers in Aging. Jennifer received a B.A. in Art History from Dickinson College, her M.A. in Teaching from George Washington University’s Museum Education Program, and an Ed.D. in International Education Development with a specialization in Families and Community Education from Columbia University’s Teachers College. She resides in Mt. Kisco with her husband, Christopher.
