White Plains, NY - White Plains Hospital Center (WPHC) will hold the third annual benefit for its Nurse Apprentice Program at Morton’s The Steakhouse, 9 Maple Avenue in White Plains, from 6 to 9 PM Monday, September 15.
Proceeds from the special evening – which will include a cocktail reception, a lavish strolling dinner buffet and silent and live auctions – will help support the Hospital’s unique program which helps guide high school and college students on the path to a nursing career. Darlene Rodriguez, co-anchor of “Today in New York” – WNBC-TV, will be featured as the event’s special guest.
The Nurse Apprentice Program, which works on the local level to address the nationwide nursing shortage, includes internships, scholarships, and career exploration programs. 20 apprentices recently began an intensive summer nursing internship which will include clinical experiences in all areas of the Hospital.
The cost per ticket is just $125. Reserved luxury booths (seats 4) are available for $550 and reserved tables (seat 8) may be purchased for $1000. For tickets and information, call (914) 681-1040.
