Purchase, NY - Thousands of walkers – including individuals with autism, their families and friends – are expected to join together to raise much-needed funds for critical scientific research and to increase awareness about a growing health crisis that now affects 1 in every 150 children at Autism Speaks’ 7th Annual Westchester/Fairfield Walk Now for Autism on Sunday, June 8, at Manhattanville College, Purchase, NY.
All proceeds from the event benefit Autism Speaks, the nation’s leading autism advocacy organization.
Last year’s event raised more than $1.2 million with more than 216 teams. This year’s goal is to break $1.5. This year’s sponsor include The Ward Family Foundation, Leterman-Gortz Corporation and Nutricia.
