 Scarsdale, NY - On Saturday, June 13, 2009, Ambassador Heidi Fox will make a presentation on Finland at Trinity Lutheran Church in Scarsdale, New York at 6:00 p.m.
Ambassador Fox, a native of Finland, currently serves as the Ambassador from Finland to the UN. Prior to that appointment, she served as a diplomat in South Africa, France, Switzerland and Israel. Presently, the Ambassador resides in Scarsdale with her family. Her husband, Alan is a water and environment expert working for the US Agency for International Development. Their children attend Scarsdale High School. Together, their love of travel has taken them to over 70 countries worldwide. Within the past 14 years, the family has lived in Pretoria South Africa, Geneva Switzerland, Helsinki Finland, and Tel Aviv Israel. they have lived and worked in 70 countries worldwide.
In the past, Trinity has been able to offer lectures by diplomats who have served abroad in Japan, Kenya, and now, Finland. The public is invited to Ambassador Fox's informative presentation. A dinner will precede the lecture. There is no charge. Ample parking is available in the church parking lot.
