 Mt. Kisco, NY - Take advantage of a great opportunity to enjoy the traditions and culture of Albania at the Albanian Heritage Day celebration, Sunday, June 8, from noon to 7 p.m., at Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla.
The celebration will feature lots of great entertainment, including Albanian-American singers, comedians and dancers, along with sports activities. Traditional Albanian art and craft items will be available for purchase. In addition there will be delicious Albanian foods and beverages for sale. No coolers will be allowed.
Seating is informal; bring blankets and chairs for seating on the lawn.
The festival will be held rain or shine.
The Albanian Heritage Day celebration is sponsored by Westchester County Parks and the Mother Teresa Center of Our Lady of Shkodra Church.
The Kensico Dam Plaza is located in Valhalla at the north end of the Bronx River Parkway.
