Wing Zone Opens In New Rochelle |

New Rochelle, NY – Duwayne Shaw, a Westchester businessman, opened the first Wing Zone franchise at 134 North Avenue in New Rochelle, NY on November 5th. Set to “officially” celebrate this with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on January 9, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. with New Rochelle Mayor Noah Bramson joining them, Mr. Shaw announced plans to bring baskets of his products to New Rochelle soup kitchens to mark the occasion.
Wing Zone, a fast-food company based in Atlanta, GA., currently has 100 franchises and is set to open 30 more in the New Year in the Southeastern United States There are only three franchises in New York State and the New Rochelle location is the first in Westchester County.
“The first month has been phenomenal,” Mr. Shaw remarked. “the public’s response is overwhelming. Customers may order on line by visiting WINGZONE.COM; this convenience has made business soar attracting repeat as well as new customers daily. Wing Zone features 25 flavors of chicken wings that are rated for customers on a “heat index” from mild to hottest. The extensive menu also includes, shrimp, salads, box lunches, signature sandwiches and party platters with customary accompaniments, along with desserts.
Each franchise is independently owned and operated and Mr. Shaw is now scoping out other locations in Westchester. In addition to his Wing Zone franchise, Mr. Shaw owns/operates a Coldwell Banker real estate office in Yonkers, NY.
