White Plains, NY - The Business Council of Westchester’s next seminar in its “Westchester@Work: Investment, Ingenuity, Innovation” series is set to occur on Monday, October 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester.
The luncheon will feature a panel of professionals who will share their experiences in the marketplace to help people maximize business opportunities in this challenging economy.
Esther Davidowitz, Editor-in-Chief of Westchester Magazine, will address innovations and new opportunities in the world of media. George E. Dunkel, President and CEO of The Westchester Bank will discuss how changes in the credit markets are leading to new products and service delivery options. Finally, Steve Wemple, Vice President of Affairs at Con Edison will speak about the changing demands of the business world with respect to power and energy.
“We are pleased to present our membership with a panel of three individuals who have created business opportunities in this challenging economic time,” said Dr. Marsha Gordon, President and CEO of The Business Council of Westchester. “We can all learn from their examples how to innovate in our businesses.”
This is the first in a series of three sessions to be presented in the next six months that will focus on innovative ways to respond to shifting market trends. Upcoming seminars include “It Is Easy Being Green” in January and “Our Evolving Workforce – Keys to Business Success” in the spring.
