 White Plains, NY - Shleppers Moving & Storage Company, Inc. has announced its expansion into Westchester County with its new office located at 20 Knollwood Avenue in Elmsford, New York.
The expansion is part of an overall growth strategy, which includes a highly skilled new management team.
Louisa Benjamin-Bohm, president and founder of Shleppers, brought in new strategic partners and enhanced the management team to execute the Company’s growth strategy. Bob Friedland, who founded Yonkers-based NAI Friedland Realty and Westrock Development LLC, will serve as chairman. Jason Friedland, president of Westrock Development LLC, and a former investment banker at Bear Stearns, will serve as chief financial officer. Allen Golan, who has an extensive background in the moving industry with Royal Moving Systems, Inc. and a prominent Boston-based moving company, will serve as chief operating officer.
Opening the Elmsford office will help Shleppers to better capitalize on the Westchester market. There are also plans to expand its storage operations into Westchester in late 2007.
