Provident Bank Announces Appointment

Westchester Business NewsMontebello, NY - Provident Bank has announced the appointment of Michael C. Della Penna as Assistant Vice President, Commercial Relationship Manager.

In his role, Della Penna will develop complex commercial loan business, assure quality of credits under management and develop fee and DDA business for the bank. He will be based at Provident Bank’s Commercial Banking Center in Tarrytown.

Della Penna joins Provident Bank with experience in both the real estate and banking industries. Most recently, he served as a Commercial Relationship Manager with Hudson Valley Bank in Yonkers, N.Y. 

“Michael has strong leadership and communication skills,” said George Strayton, President and Chief Executive Officer of Provident Bank. “His background in managing diverse loan portfolios and maintaining and expanding client relationships in Westchester County and the surrounding markets will be tremendous contributions to our Tarrytown Commercial Banking Center.”

Della Penna received his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in Amherst, Mass.  He is currently working toward his Master of Business Administration in finance and accounting from Fordham University in West Harrison N.Y., and resides in White Plains, N.Y.
