New Rochelle, NY - Samosa Cabana, Inc. announces the GRAND OPENING of its first Indian Take-Out Restaurant. The restaurant is set to "officially" celebrate this with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on January 29, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with New Rochelle Mayor Noah Bramson.
Executive Chef Jose will lead the way with over 22 years of experience, and numerous accolades for his cuisine.
Samosa Cabana, formerly known as Bombay Express, is ideally located on North Avenue close to New Roc City which is a 1.2 million square foot entertainment, retail, and residential complex in the heart of downtown New Rochelle. Franklin Philips and Tobin George, the young owners recently stated, "We are thrilled to have this opportunity to provide our guests the best that India has to offer in a fun, friendly environment. Our idea is to expand it into a national Indian take-out chain. We will be located in the middle of the rejuvenating North Ave district which would be the perfect location to showcase our quality Indian fusion food." The unique concept involves opening different take-out locations in malls, next to colleges, airports, and other quick serve areas.
The Chef's signature items include fresh samosas, kati rolls, parathas, curries, as well as Halal platters that you get at cart vendors in NYC. The food at Samosa Cabana tastes as if it were made at home. It is plentiful, and the service is quick and friendly. The menu is kept very simple with a limited number of Indian entrees, some daily specials, appetizers, and side dishes. Samosa Cabana has blended some non-Indian, Chinese and Lebanese offerings into the menu. Samosa Cabana is found on the principle that everyone deserves a fast, high-quality meal without the high prices associated with most sit-down restaurants.
The restaurant is targeted to a broad spectrum of patrons including businesses, high school & college students, elderly people, white collars, construction workers, guys and girls altogether. Everyone can enjoy a quality meal at a great price.
