 Scarsdale, NY - The Scholastic Store in Scarsdale and Groove Performing Arts, two popular family-friendly Westchester destinations, have joined together to bring the acclaimed “Music for Aardvarks & Other Mammals” program to lower Westchester area families with a series of music classes for kids beginning May 2008.
The Music for Aardvarks program at The Scholastic Store offers a series of music classes for kids ages 6 months to 4 years old and their parents/caregivers. Each class is led by professional musicians and teachers who incorporate rock, blues and world music into singing, dancing and jamming. The 6-week sessions begin May 22, 2008 and again on July 10, 2008 and cost $175 per session.
Registration is on a first come, first serve basis through www.findgroove.com. Aardvarks who register for both 6-week sessions, will receive a free T-shirt from Groove Performing Arts and a 20% off coupon from The Scholastic Store.

The Scholastic Store is located in the Scarsdale Park Mall at 450 Central Park Avenue (Route 100). Regular store hours for the Scarsdale store are Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m., and Sunday, 12-5 p.m.
