 Scarsdale, NY - Citibabes opened the doors to its first location in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood in November of 2005. Their mission was to create a private family club, resource center, and ultimately, a community where children could take exciting classes, play, learn, socialize, and eat while parents, extended family and caregivers could enjoy workshops, workout, and meet friends. In August 2009, they will offer families in Scarsdale, NY, just that when they launch their second location.
The 9000sf Scarsdale location will offer unique classes for ages 2 months to 10 years, summer & vacation camp, musical performances, a preschool alternative, educational computer stations, four classrooms that open up into a 1250sf space, a room for personalized private birthday parties, and an indoor playground designed by Edwin Schlossberg‘s renowned ecofriendly firm, ESI Design, featuring 1100sf of safe structures and informative play stations.
For adults, a full-service gym with a yoga/spinning room, personal trainers, and group classes including a pre-natal program will be offered, in addition to a gourmet family-friendly café and a hip retail store that will be open to the public - all of which is nestled under one considerably busy roof.
